Angel Cardoso - Varsity Winter Guard & Color Guard Assistant Coach
Angel graduated from Round Lake HS in 2022 and spun with the program for 7 seasons.
Angel was a member of the Rosemont Cavaliers in (2022 & 2023) and Carolina Crown (2024 and 2025) He also spun with Eklipse World Guard in (2025)
Angel has been on the Round Lake Guard staff since 2022. Recent successes include MWCGC Championships 2023 3rd Place in Class SA (JukeBox Hero's) and 2026 2nd Place in Class SA (the curse of La Llorona).
Ivy Moore - JV Assistant Coach and Flag Tech
Ivy graduated Round Lake HS in 2019 and spun with the program for 6 seasons. She just graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois where she majored in Elementary Education. Ivy currently teaches 5th grade in Lake Villa, IL. Her favorite show is Bad Habits and her favorite guard memory is playing bussy roll call on the way to competitions.
Ivy was a member of the Marching Illini (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022).
Ivy has been on the Round Lake Guard staff since 2019. Recent successes include MWCGC Championships 2026 1st Place in Class SRA (Words to Live By).
Lauren Hair - Dance and Flag Tech
Lauren graduated from Round Lake HS in 2024 and spun with the program for 8 seasons.
Lauren was a member of the NIU Marching Husky's Color Guard in 2024, 2025, 2026 and is currently the Captain and Choreographer for the team.
Lauren has been on the Round Lake Guard staff since 2024.
Alex Ferrer - Weapon and Flag Tech
Alex graduated from Round Lake HS in 2024 and spun with the program for 5 seasons.
Alex is member of the Rosemont Cavaliers in (2025 & 2026) He also spun with Montage Winter Guard in (2025).
Alex has been on the Round Lake Guard staff since 2024.
