Ever wonder what it would be like to be a member of the RLHS Color Guard Team?? If you are a RL student in grades 4-12 sign-up to participate in our SpinFest! Students will learn basic flag and dance maneuvers and perform a fun show for family and friends at the end of the day! Registration fee is $25 and includes a camp tee shirt, certificate and snacks. You can get a registration sheet at your school in the office or you can register online using the form below.

What is Spin-Fest? The Round Lake HS Winter Guard (flag team) is hosting a mini flag & dance camp for all students in grades 4-11.  At this camp students will learn the basics of how to twirl and maneuver a flag as well some basic dance moves. All of those skills will be put together to make an amazing routine that will be performed at the end of the day for family and friends! Students will be divided into 2 groups based on their grade level and experience level. Grades 4-6 will be in our short flags class (pole is 3 feet long) and grades 7-11 will be in our tall flags class (pole is 6 feet long) So, if you love music, want to have fun with your friends and learn to spin a flag all in one afternoon, then you will LOVE Spin-Fest! New for high school students only! You may now choose rifle or sabre.

When & Where Is Spin-Fest? Spin-Fest will be held on April 19 from 11:00AM-5:00PM at Round Lake HS in the Main Gym.  Check-In will be from 10:30-11:00AM in the foyer of the gym (use door 7).  A friends and family performance will take place at 4:30PM in the Main Gym at RLHS. 

How Much Does Spin-Fest Cost?
Spin-Fest costs $25, that fee includes the following; a camp shirt, certificate of participation, snack and instruction by the RLHS Winter Guard and their staff. If you register on the day of the event the registration fee is $35. Make all checks payable to the RL Fine Arts Boosters (RLASFAB), cash is also accepted. All proceeds benefit the guard teams at RLHS. Payment must accompany your registration and no refunds will be given to participants who don’t attend the event. If you register after the deadline we cannot guarantee you will receive a tee shirt. 

​What Do I Bring/Wear To Spin-Fest? 
Students are asked to bring a water bottle from home. We will provide the snacks! Students should wear black pants or shorts and gym shoes to camp.  Make sure you are dressed comfortably so you can move and dance freely. Tight jeans are not recommended. Students will change into their camp t-shirt once they check in before camp starts. If you use an inhaler please bring it with you. Participants should plan on eating lunch before they arrive.

How Do I Sign Up For Spin-Fest?
There are 3 ways to register!

1. Turn your registration sheet and $25 fee into your school office or music teacher by April 2. (your payment must accompany your registration form)
2. Register online using our website by April 2.  www.roundlakeguard.com (if you choose to register this way you must mail or hand in your payment before the event)
3. You may register on the day of the event but the fee goes up to $35.
